Blizzcon 2008 Coverage - Day 0

We are back, back from Blizzcon 2008 and we have tons of footage to reveal to our loyal readers. To get started, lets check out this video we put together covering the anticipation outside the convention space on the day before Blizzcon 2008 officially started.

In this video, we focus on the commotion outside the convention space as everyone waits in line to gather their Blizzcon pass and goodie bag. We meet Colin and James, who already have their passes and bags, and get an up close look at some of the items included in this year’s goodie bag.

The goodie bag was quite interesting this year, and it included a StarCraft 2 beta key - as we predicted. In addition to the beta key, a Polar Bear mount was included for the WOW players, a Diablo 3 stress ball and sinomints, StarCraft 2 Zerg Creep (some sort of putty substance) and wirst bands, WOW hearthing dwarf inflatable, and an inflatable WarCraft frostmourn. Some other little items were also thrown in to sweeten the loot, including a Pandera beer coozy and bottle opener, playing card startup set, and a mini board game. Very exciting stuff!

After delving into the goodie bag, we also troll the “line of the waiting” to poll the people on what games they are most interested in seeing. World of Warcraft certainly captured the crowds interest, with an interesting following for StarCraft 2 - including a guy wearing a suit!
