The Blizzcon ticket drawing opt-in session is now closed, Blizzard announced today. Within the next few days, 1,500 lucky fans will be given the opportunity to purchase two tickets to Blizzcon.

This ticket drawing is the result of Blizzard’s attempt to regain trust from their faithful fans from their utter failure to fairly sell tickets at the original release. Many accounts from gamers detailed their failure to purchase tickets during the original offering, even though having them in their cart at checkout - only to be redirected upon confirmation to the product page. Many even reported being charged several times while trying to checkout.
